Our Story
Our story started with a swipe on January of 2023. We met on a dating app called Hinge. We say it was fate, because out of all the people in this world we “swiped right” on each other. We couldn’t go on a real date at the time because we were on different countries, so we started to get to know each other by phone calls and text messages.
Our first FaceTime date lasted 4 nonstop hours, we knew we had found something amazing. Once we were both on the same country we went on our real first date. Dani remembers a random thought she had: “At some point, I’m going to go on my last first date; and I won’t even realize it”… And it was magical, we had so much fun.
We had great conversations and the chemistry was undeniable. We finished our first date with a feeling of not wanting it to end. Nick actually told Dani on their first date: “You know I’m going to marry you right?”…
After that, it was clear we had found something special. Our second date was in New York City and Nick introduced Dani to his family on that very same trip. A month later Nick was traveling to Ecuador to meet Dani’s family. Things progressed really quickly but very naturally at the same time. The one thing we were consistently sure about was each other. 4 months after we met we moved in together. We got our little puppy Stella a few months after that and we started building our family. Through a combined love for traveling, trying new restaurants, and above all navigating life hand in hand, we became each other’s go to person. We discovered we make a great team.In our two years being together we have gone through so much, the best of times and also challenging moments. One thing we know for sure; we wouldn’t want to do life without each other. We can’t wait to celebrate March 8th with all of you, and establish this date as our “forever anniversary.”
